I live close to Daisy Park and often go out for a quick walk through the park. I don’t run – I walk. I take in the scenery, the sounds of kids playing, and the sweet smell of blooming flowers (well sometimes). It’s very relaxing and a slow but steady calorie burn.

Does the pool count for being “outside the gym”? I’ll be doing a lot of swimming this year!

I run up and down the stairs in my aprtment building. It's a great workout and I've met all sorts of neighbors too.

I walk a lot. As much as possible I leave my car in the driveway and walk. Sometimes I walk the neighborhood but I prefer to just work it in my daily errands.

I'm a dancer so that's pretty good exercise. But nothing--NOTHING!--beats a good Pilates class, lol.

I take my kids on short runs around the block. It’s a good thing to do together and I like to think if they enjoy it they’ll do it for years to come.
