Summer is not that far away. Declare your goals here and read those of others - you may get some great ideas and some encouragement. But make your goals realistic - don't set yourself up for failure.
My goal for summer is to no get overly obsessed with the hype of the season. In years passed I’ve built up a lot of expectations about the summer and found myself overtraining in the spring. This year I intend on keeping it all reasonable.
I hear ya annie - There's way 2 much pressure around the summer. I'm working toward goals but i won't let it get me crazy. (hey maybe I should do a few training sessions - I'll look for you at the gym) - alicia
This summer I’m planning a trip to Italy (Rome, Sicily, and Sardinia). It’s going to be a lot of walking so I know I’ll need to be conditioned. I’ll keep to my workout schedule and spend more and more time on that treadmill.
I want to try surfing this summer, but first I need to become a better swimmer. I just signed up for swim lessons and will be using the pool at Pinnacle Fitness a lot more often.
